This week, make an effort to get active with others. Take your kids to the park, don’t be afraid to run in the grass with them, play a game of soccer, or bike around the neighborhood. Grab a workout buddy and go for a jog, attend a class at your local gym, or try a new activity.
Being active is fun. Being active with your friends and kids is even more fun. Turn it into something you love!
The more you work out with a fitness partner or just play with your kids in something physical, the more you’re going to enjoy it. This helps raise your metabolism and makes it more likely that you’ll go back and do it again.
It’s hard to be motivated to work out by yourself. If you have a workout buddy that is encouraging you to go to the gym, you’ll be more likely to get off the couch and go do it!
